Black Forest Activities
In our area many great destinations are offered, from museums, lakes, adventure, fun and thermal baths, leisure and nature adventure parks, ski lifts (in the valley itself only 1 km away), you can do a lot. A direct access to the very well-developed hiking and cycling trails is possible, as well as a well-developed cross-country ski network is only 200 meters away. The amusement park is surrounded by large Black Forest mountains, which give the numerous attractions a unique natural backdrop. Put your foot on the world’s largest adventure bridge, throw yourself on the summer toboggan runs in the curves and go in the large game park on Black Forest safari.
The Hasenhorn in Todtnau is the longest and most exciting toboggan run in Germany. Steep curves, wild waves and three great roundabouts make for a ride full of surprises. Buckle up and off you go! But no fear. You alone determine your speed.
The Europa-Park is a leisure and theme park in Rust, Baden-Württemberg. With around 5.6 million visitors in 2017, it is the most visited amusement park in the German-speaking area.
The “Sauschwänzlebahn” is a train route from a famous German children’s book: the tracks meander through the landscape, tunnels lead through mountains, valleys are overcome with stately bridges and a historic locomotive in the middle of the track … you almost believe the whistle of the locomotive and to hear the heavy iron bars driving the train.

In one of the most beautiful Black Forest valleys, in Münstertal, lies the large beehive museum with a small culture and local history. It is one of the largest museums of its kind in the world and a gem of the valley. Visit this great and unique show with live bees and hundreds of exhibits from around the world.
Black Forest Skimuseum
The initiator of the Black Forest Ski Museum was Georg Thoma, who was known throughout the world for his Olympic victory in 1960 in Squaw Valley Hinterzarten. The municipality Hinterzarten, with the then mayor Hansjörg Eckert, supported the realization of the museum.
German Clocks Museum
For more than 160 years the collection of the German Clock Museum has existed, today it counts more than 8000 objects from all over the world. Around one thousand watches are visible to the visitors, they are conveyed annually in almost as many tours.

Experience one of the last, active Mundblashütte of the Black Forest. Watch our glassmakers and glass grinders. Have a look into our engraving room and stroll through the large glass country with our numerous decorating and gift ideas around the perfectly laid table. Visit the year-round decorated Christmas village and enjoy the festive atmosphere – even in high summer.
The Black Forest Museum in Triberg invites you to an exciting journey through many centuries of living and working “on the high forest”.
The climatic health resort Feldberg is home to the highest peak of the Black Forest: the 1493 meter high Feldberg. Enjoy idyllic paths and grandiose panoramas on and around the Feldberg.
The Wutachschlucht is one of the last original wild river landscapes in Central Europe.
The Titisee with its lake road is one of the most famous destinations in Germany. The lake shore with a view over the beautiful Black Forest lake invites many recreation seekers to linger.
